Term & Conditions

1. General Overview
Consolidix Logistics provides door-to-door cargo services to destinations worldwide. By booking with us, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

2. Liability Limitation

  • The maximum liability of Consolidix Logistics for any loss, damage, or delay related to a shipment shall be limited to £50 per booking.
  • Customers are strongly advised to purchase separate insurance for full coverage of their goods. Insurance is available at an additional cost.

3. Use of Third-Party Service Providers

  • Consolidix Logistics may engage third-party service providers (such as carriers, freight forwarders, or customs agents) to fulfill shipping services.
  • In such cases, the terms and conditions of the third-party providers will apply, and Consolidix Logistics will not be liable beyond what is stipulated by the third-party.

4. Delivery Delays

  • Consolidix Logistics will make every effort to deliver shipments in a timely manner.
  • However, we do not accept any responsibility for delivery delays, as there are multiple factors beyond our control that may cause delays, including but not limited to:
    • Customs clearance
    • Weather conditions
    • Airline or shipping line disruptions
    • Third-party delays
  • No compensation will be provided for delayed shipments.

5. Prohibited and Dangerous Goods

  • The customer is strictly prohibited from sending dangerous, flammable, explosive, or restricted items, including but not limited to:
    • Body sprays
    • Perfumes
    • Batteries (including power banks and lithium batteries)
  • If any such items are found in the shipment:
    • The customer will be fined for non-compliance.
    • The items will be confiscated and destroyed without compensation.

6. Packing List Requirement

  • Customers must provide a full and accurate packing list with every shipment.
  • No claims for loss or damage will be entertained without a valid packing list.

7. Illegal or Restricted Goods

  • Any shipment found to contain illegal, counterfeit, or restricted items will be reported to the relevant legal authorities.
  • Consolidix Logistics will fully cooperate with law enforcement, including providing shipment documentation and customer information as required.

8. Customs and Import Duties

  • In most cases, cargo services include local customs clearance and duties.
  • However, in some countries, the receiver may be required to pay import duties, taxes, or fees based on local laws and regulations.
  • Consolidix Logistics is not responsible for any such charges at the destination. It is the customer's responsibility to inform the receiver and ensure that such payments are made if required.

9. Customs and Regulatory Compliance

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the shipment complies with the customs and import regulations of the destination country.
  • Consolidix Logistics is not responsible for any penalties, delays, or confiscations due to non-compliance with such regulations.

10. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed and paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Any delays in payment may result in service suspension or shipment delay.

11. Amendments

  • Consolidix Logistics reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
  • The most current version will always be available on our website.
